How it all started...
What began as a humble gathering in a tent and then a school in Dorion Garden has grown into a vibrant spiritual community at the heart of our region. Our journey is one of faith, resilience, and service.
Our early years saw the construction of our first church building and parsonage, providing a permanent home for worship and fellowship. As our congregation grew, we embraced our bilingual heritage, offering both French and English services, each welcoming 35-40 attendees. To accommodate this growth, we expanded our church building, doubling its size to better serve our community.

Embracing Diversity
In time, our French congregation flourished and became an independent church, a testament to our commitment to nurturing faith in both languages. We also reintroduced evening services, offering more opportunities for worship and connection.
In 2006, we joyfully celebrated 40 years of ministry in the area, reflecting on decades of faith and community impact. Under the guidance of interim pastors and dedicated leaders, our church continued to thrive and evolve.

Expanding Our Reach
A new chapter began with the construction of a new building on the lot next to our church. Our previous church building found new purpose, transformed to accommodate Faith Christian Academy, which now rents the space and enriches the lives of local students.
In 2013, inspired by a vision to serve and uplift our community, Doris and David Charles founded the Dorion Dream Center. Through their leadership and dedication, the Dream Center has broadened our mission to meet the needs of our wider community. In 2021, the Dorion Dream Center received its official charity number, marking a new era of outreach and support.
Today, we continue to build on our legacy of faith, service, and community. We remain dedicated to welcoming all, nurturing spiritual growth, and making a positive impact in Dorion and beyond.
